The first Pilot fountain pens and inks were launched in Japan in 1918, the year the company was founded.

One of the most famous models, the Pilot Capless, was developed in 1963 and was the first fountain pen with a push-button mechanism. It remains the epitome of the capless fountain pen and the best of its kind. Other high-quality models complement the brand:

Pilot Iroshizuku ink reflects the Japanese landscape in rich, vibrant colors. The ink is water-based and allows for particularly smooth writing.

The elegant glass bottle has a conical indentation at the bottom to ensure the converter can absorb every last drop of ink. We also carry Pilot cartridges in our range.
