Tetzbo - Hammertone ballpoint pen

This brass ballpoint pen from Tetzbo is a true masterpiece. The Hammertone was handcrafted by the artist and blacksmith Yoshikazu Takai. The cap is integrated into the barrel with remarkable precision.

Unlike the Stumpy model, the cap on this ballpoint pen cannot be pushed back.

The ballpoint pen has a light brown color due to the brass and will develop a patina over time. When closed, it is approximately 13.3 cm long and 11.5 cm when opened. It has a diameter of 1.2 cm. It weighs approximately 63 g. It is filled with a black 0.7 mm SXR-7 refill.

Tetzbo was founded by Japanese artist Yoshikazu Takai. Originally a sculptor, his sculptures can be found in public spaces throughout Japan. From large-scale sculptures, he turned to fine stationery. His incredibly beautiful and unique pens reflect his sculptural background, yet retain the depth and complexity one would expect from his work.
