Platinum

Platinum Pen is one of the classic fountain pen brands in Japan. Almost everyone in Japan knows its advertising songs from the 1960s and 1970s. Platinum's product range is broad, ranging from simple school fountain pens like the Preppy to masterpieces of craftsmanship like the Izumo.

The Izumo is a comfortable fountain pen. It features a particularly large and soft-writing gold nib.

Another well-known fountain pen series from Platinum is the #3776 Century: Mount Fuji is a symbol of perfection for all Japanese people – and at 3,776 meters high, it also gives the pen its name. These pens are available in many different elegant designs: made of celluloid, with Urushi painting, or in matte transparent resin.

The Curidas series is the capless version of Platinum: It is activated simply by pressing the button at the end of the barrel. The nib is hidden behind a particularly well-sealed cap, preventing it from drying out.

Platinum's more affordable versions are also very popular: Plaisir, Prefounte, and Preppy. Fountain pens in vibrant colors that put you in a good mood while writing.
