Included are 4 cartridges of Platinum Carbon ink, an ink that forms a very nice deep black and is waterproof after drying. This means the drawing can then be recolored with other inks or watercolor paint.
The fountain pen has the patented Slip&Seal mechanism built into the cap, which prevents the fountain pen from drying out.
