Octopus - Write and Draw - White Polar Bear

With the Write & Draw ink, Octopus has launched a series of pigmented inks that are also suitable for fountain pens. There are 38 different colors to choose from. And if that's not enough for you, all the inks can be mixed together. The Write & Draw inks contain a binding agent that gives them additional substance and a silky shine, making the writing completely waterproof.

The advantage of pigmented inks is their lightfastness, which is especially important for calligraphy. They are also indelible according to DIN standards and therefore waterproof. This allows you to watercolor over this ink when doing urban sketching.

But be careful: the ink must not dry out in the fountain pen. Therefore, always clean the fountain pen promptly! Especially if it hasn't been used for several days. Cleaning is easy with water. It's even easier with a special cleaner.

If the ink has dried, you can dissolve it again with alcohol. However, please check the fountain pen's instructions to make sure the alcohol won't damage the pen.

If you want to use the ink with a brush or pen, you can also dilute it with water. In this case, however, you should not use the ink in a fountain pen, as dilution will cause it to lose its flow properties.
