A fascinating tool for any artist: a heavy brass ring with a stainless spring steel iris diaphragm. This allows you to draw clean circles of all sizes up to 7 cm in diameter.
The rubber pad on the bottom allows the iris to rest firmly on the paper without slipping. The walnut base is there for display on the desk, but it also serves as an aid for correctly placing the circles when drawing.
