Aluminum writing instruments are widespread. But all of these writing instruments are mostly anodized. Anodization is a special process in which the surface of the aluminum is oxidized and colored at the same time. This very thin layer provides very successful protection against corrosion - as long as no scratch interrupts this anodized surface. But the new Kaweco Sport raw aluminum doesn't want to be protected - it wants to show that the pen is being used.

Through intensive use, this pen acquires small scratches and areas of wear, giving it its own personal touch! Initially very smooth due to the high gloss polishing, it is a pleasure to hold. To some, the pen even seems heavier than the other anodized versions from the Kaweco Sport AL series. But this is a small deception that only emphasizes his conspicuousness.
The individual metal parts are manufactured using computer-controlled milling machines and are absolutely precise. The ballpoint pen requires a short refill of type D1.
