The Special series is a very elegant solution to Kaweco's distinctive characteristics: the octagonal basic shape. In the special, this is very slim with a diameter of 10 mm. Like the Liliput, the cap can simply be screwed onto the end of the pen and thus extend the pen. The Special is already long enough to be comfortable in the hand. The brass of the pen may take on a patina over time.
