This nib is exactly the same as the familiar brass nib. It's just slightly tarnished. This cosmetic flaw doesn't affect the writing experience!
A beautiful alternative to glass nibs: the nib is made of brass and has precisely crafted slits for ink flow. Depending on the angle at which this nib is applied, it produces a medium to fine stroke or—when used very flat—a broad, brush-like stroke.
The nib has a ring holder that does not necessarily fit all European nib holders as it is somewhat narrower.
Like glass nibs, the nib is easy to clean by briefly rinsing.
