I really want to like this pen, but it has a terrible nib. The nib is scratchy and the ink flow is terrible. It is not fun to write with at all. Also, whether it is due to the box, or due to some other reason, a smooth line was rubbed into the cap of the otherwise matte pen. Perhaps I am naive, but I simply expected something better for 125 euros. I have given 3 stars instead of 1, as the pen body is colorful and cheerful, and hopefully a new nib will result in having a useful pen in the end. I´m just disappointed to already having to buy a new nib for a new pen. For comparison, my TWSBI Eco, which I ordered from Papier & Stift for 1/3 of the price of the Omar, has performed flawlessly and is an absolute joy to use.
Ich möchte diesen Stift wirklich mögen, aber er hat eine schreckliche Feder. Die Feder ist kratzig und der Tintenfluss ist schrecklich. Es macht überhaupt keinen Spaß, mit ihm zu schreiben. Außerdem, ob es nun an der Schachtel liegt oder aus einem anderen Grund, wurde eine glatte Linie in die Kappe des ansonsten matten Stiftes gerieben. Vielleicht bin ich naiv, aber für 125 Euro habe ich einfach etwas Besseres erwartet. Ich habe 3 statt 1 Stern gegeben, da der Stiftkörper bunt und fröhlich ist und eine neue Feder hoffentlich dazu führt, dass man am Ende einen brauchbaren Stift hat. Ich bin nur enttäuscht, dass ich schon wieder eine neue Feder für einen neuen Stift kaufen muss. Zum Vergleich: mein TWSBI Eco, den ich bei Papier & Stift für 1/3 des Preises des Omar bestellt habe, funktioniert tadellos und ist eine absolute Freude.
