Taccia fountain pen Wakaiko (gold)

Taccia presents a very small and very fine series with its latest fountain pens: this very classic shape is decorated with a special maki-e technique, in which the motif is applied in fine relief using a mixture of urushi lacquer and charcoal dust. Finally, the motif is covered with a layer of urushi lacquer and gold dust. This very special maki-e technique is only produced in Aizu City.

The motifs of this fountain pen are also very classic Japanese: Biwa shows the Japanese flute and Wadaiko a Japanese drum.

Due to the complex manufacturing process, this fountain pen is only produced in a very small edition of 50 per color and motif. We are offering the No. 4 with a B nib.

As with all Taccia fountain pens, the nibs are made by Sailor and are 18 kt gold nibs.
