The Taccia Covenant is a very unusual fountain pen with its very elongated cap. Closed, this cap dominates the entire pen. At first, the acrylic material and the relatively large clip are most noticeable.
When unscrewed, the actual, relatively narrow and rather short pen comes to light. because of the 39g of the total pen, only 21g remain in the hand after unscrewing the cap. Even though it looks very dainty compared to the cap, it still fits quite well in the hand even with large hands with a grip diameter of 10.5 mm and a length of 132 mm.
If you unscrew the cap, you get a very long and heavy fountain pen: it is then 182 mm long. However, since the grip section is easy to grasp over the entire length, it still feels powerful but good in the hand.
The nib is a steel nib with gold-plated decoration. It is available in different nib strengths, also as a music nib - a nib shape that we otherwise only have from Sailor in the program.
