The Sailor King of Pens is one of the finest writing instruments par excellence. Made of ebonite, the fountain pen fascinates with its simplicity and unadorned design.

However, the 21 ct bicolor gold nib is the special heart of this variant: it was manufactured as a naginata nib. This special shape has a specially crafted writing grain that is used to create a stroke variation. This is relatively narrow for all vertical strokes and much wider for horizontal strokes. This effect is also known from so-called architectural nibs, but the naginata nibs write much softer in this case.

Ebonite as a shaft material has a natural warmth and pleasant surface. Due to its natural origin, it may have minimal imperfections, but these are part of the material.

This fountain pen is packaged in a fine wooden box, which also includes a converter and a glass of ink.
