Sailor is taking a completely new approach with the Cylint fountain pen: a steel barrel. Due to the material, the fountain pen is relatively heavy at 37 g.
This design is rounded off with rhodium-plated metal elements such as the cap ring and clip. The 21-carat nib is also rhodium-plated, giving it a blackish hue. This nib is significantly softer and more flexible than conventional 14- or 18-carat nibs. The fountain pen is filled with cartridges, but only Sailor cartridges can be used.
The fountain pen is shipped in a gift box containing a cleaning cloth, Sailor cartridges, a Sailor converter, and a small leather case for the fountain pen.
