The long-awaited special edition of the Toledo piston fountain pen celebrates the millennia-old art of damascus.
The special pelican motif is hand-finished by a goldsmith. The wraparound barrel, made of 925 sterling silver, features two pelican motifs: a small pelican standing in front of a pelican with outstretched wings, and a pelican with its beak open. During the manufacturing process, the motif is etched onto the barrel, then the intricate details are embroidered by hand. Finally, the barrel surface is coated with palladium.
The nib is made of 18 carat/750 gold and is fully rhodium-plated.
