Octopus - Write and Draw - Yellow Wolf, 10 ml

With the Write an Draw ink, Octopus has released a series of pigmented inks that are also suitable for fountain pens. You have a total of 38 different colors to choose from. And if that's not enough for you: all inks can be mixed with each other. The Write&Draw Inks contain a binding agent which gives them additional substance and a silky shine and makes the typeface absolutely waterproof.

The advantage of pigmented inks is their lightfastness, which is particularly important in calligraphy. It is also document-proof according to the DIN standard and is therefore also waterproof. You can use this to watercolor over this ink when doing urban sketching.

But be careful: the ink must not dry out in the fountain pen. So please always clean the fountain pen very quickly! Especially if it is not used for several days. Cleaning is easy with water. It's even easier with the appropriate special cleaner.

If the ink has dried up, it can be dissolved again with alcohol. But then please follow the instructions for the fountain pen to ensure that the alcohol does not damage the fountain pen.

If you want to use the ink with a brush or pen, it can also be diluted with water. In this case, do not use the ink in the fountain pen anymore, as it loses its flow properties as it is diluted.
