Montegrappa - Elmo 01 Ambiance, Charcoal

Produced with the Ambiente series Montegrappa offers a sustainable fountain pen: the plastic is recycled, and depending on the original blend, this is also evident in the pen's patterns. The Charcoal version gets its signature black streaks from a mix of pharmaceutical plastic waste and food packaging.

But everything else is also very sustainable: from the packaging made of recycled plastic, which has not been given an extra, elaborate coating because this would make recycling more difficult, to the included case made of recycled felt, the company has clearly put a lot of thought into how to promote sustainability in writing instruments.

The fountain pen has a steel nib and comes with a converter.
