The award-winning fountain pen shape #3776 from Platinum is of course also available in a typical Japanese Maki-e finish. With the classic Ginga (which means galaxy in German), the smallest pieces of abalone shell are applied to the fountain pen and filled with several layers of urushi varnish. This creates a fascinating shimmer in deep black that is reminiscent of the intense starlight in the Milky Way.
Like all Platinum fountain pens, the fountain pen can be filled with your own cartridges. We therefore include a converter so that all common inks can be used.
